Based on the original Leopard 42 and built by Robertson & Caine, the Moorings 4200 is the only one of its kind designed with a lounge area on the coachroof, the perfect place to sip on a cocktail while watching the sun set on the horizon!

Built by Robertson & Caine and designed by Naval Architects, Simonis & Voogd, this mid-size catamaran features three private staterooms, each with its own en-suite bath.

Onboard comfort

Your Moorings 4200 will provide all the comfort you could expect thanks to its roomy, fully-equipped galley, its convertible saloon and its 3 double cabins each with en-suite head with shower.

Solar panels, generator, air-conditioning, watermaker, television…the long list of options available on the Moorings 4200!

At lunchtime, you can dine in the aft cockpit whatever the weather, safely protected from the elements by a hardtop bimini. Evening meals can be taken cozily in the saloon, from where you can gaze up at the stars through the skylight.

Outside

The Moorings 4200 is designed to provide three distinct living areas, each with its own particular style. Whether in the aft cockpit, the fore sunbathing area or the coachroof lounge, it’s up to you to decide where to sit!

What’s our favorite place for having an aperitif with friends or family, you may be wondering?

The upstairs lounge! Having a seating area well above the water level really is unique for a catamaran of this size! Even better, the designers thoughtfully fitted in a set of speakers so that you can enjoy your favorite music up there, too. What a nice touch!

So, the boat is designed to provide maximum comfort, but what about its performances under sail? You will be glad to know that we successfully test sailed it in extreme conditions, with gusts of over 40 knots, off the coast of South Africa, where the boat was built. Like all Leopard catamarans, the 4200 is sturdy, sea-worthy and performs well not only under sail but also under motor, thanks to its two powerful 45hp YANMAR engines. These, and the camera fitted at the fore, ensure the Moorings 4200 is also a pleasure to maneuver in ports.
